BACKYARD BABIES To Begin Mixing In Late August - July 21, 2003

Sweden's BACKYARD BABIES are on track to complete the recordings for their new album on Monday, July 28 and begin mixing the effort on August 24 in Los Angeles.

The band, who are currently recording the follow-up to 2001's "Making Enemies Is Good" at Stockholm's Polar studios with producer Joe Barresi (LIMP BIZKIT, BUCKCHERRY, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, MONSTER MAGNET, KYUSS) are describing the process so far as "a smooth operation." A late 2003 release through RCA/BMG Records is expected.

BACKYARD BABIES' last two efforts, "Making Enemies Is Good" and 1998's "Total 13", were both certified gold in Sweden for sales in excess of 30,000 copies.
